MikroTik Manager

MikroTik Manager is a web control plane for whole RouterOS fleets, built so that a bad VLAN change reverts itself instead of costing you a drive to the site. Before any risky edit, Change Guard saves a restore point on the device and arms a scheduler; if a fresh connection cannot reach the router afterwards, it rolls itself back. Lockout prediction simulates each change against live device state and refuses one that would cut management access, naming the exact port and VLAN at fault. Config Health audits for settings RouterOS accepts but silently ignores. Day to day, a live dashboard tracks availability, wireless clients, and alerts delivered by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, or ntfy. Switch faceplates, per-port client views, VLAN copy wizards, bulk SSID deployment, RF health charts, rogue AP detection, and a guest Wi-Fi captive portal wizard cover the wired and wireless side. A rule builder handles firewall and NAT, topology maps come from LLDP, CDP, and MNDP, and a built-in NetFlow collector attributes traffic to clients and applications. Firmware rolls out in canary waves that halt on failure, and every configuration snapshot supports diffs and one-click rollback. OIDC single sign-on, TOTP two-factor, role-based access, and scoped API tokens protect the console, while sites group devices per customer network. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. AGPL-3.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • Self-Healing Changes Prevent Lockouts
  • Change Guard saves a restore point and arms a scheduler on the device, so a change that breaks reachability reverts itself within minutes, with nobody driving to the site.
  • Safer Fleet-Wide Firmware Upgrades
  • Staged rollouts upgrade a canary wave first with a pre-upgrade backup, verify each reboot on the new version, and halt on failure so a bad build never reaches the whole fleet.
  • Traffic Analytics Without External Collectors
  • The built-in NetFlow v9 and IPFIX collector on UDP 2055 attributes traffic to clients and applications with top talkers from one hour to 30 days, so no separate analyzer is needed.
  • One Console For Many Sites
  • Sites group devices per network with their own clients, events, topology, and dashboards, while Admin, Operator, and Viewer roles plus OIDC single sign-on keep access under control.

Features

  • Change Guard Auto-Revert
  • Device-side restore points and a revert scheduler cover twelve change types, including bridge VLAN filtering, port PVIDs, IP addresses, routes, and bonds, entirely over the RouterOS API.
  • Lockout Prediction Engine
  • Simulates a planned change against live device state and refuses it when management access would break, naming the ingress port and missing VLAN membership responsible.
  • Switch And Wireless Management
  • Live switch faceplates, per-port client lists, a VLAN copy wizard, bulk SSID deployment, RF health charts, rogue AP detection, and CAPsMAN-aware access point grouping.
  • Network Topology Maps
  • Links are discovered through LLDP, CDP, and MNDP, resolved by MAC address and spanning-tree data, with draggable manual links for connections discovery cannot see.
  • Configuration History And Rollback
  • Deduplicated snapshots of each device's full export show side-by-side diffs, with one-click rollback and scheduled backups on daily, weekly, or monthly cadences.
  • Firewall And Network Services
  • A friendly rule builder, address lists, and NAT wizards sit beside multi-device DHCP, DNS, NTP, WireGuard, syslog, and SNMP management with conflict detection.
