Velocity

Velocity watches aircraft, ships, and satellites move across a live map and records everything it sees, so you can rewind the world to any moment you captured instead of begging commercial trackers for history. Thousands of contacts move across the globe in real time with no account and no API keys, and clicking any aircraft or vessel opens its dossier: identity, kinematics, route, track history, and a note on which feeds reported the position and how fresh it is. A scrubber along the bottom replays the last hour or the last week at up to 3600x speed, turning yesterday's near-miss or dark vessel into something you can actually inspect. Layers add GPS jamming, ships with AIS switched off, flight restrictions, earthquakes, military bases, ports, and maritime chokepoints such as Hormuz and Malacca with live transit counts. An autonomous watch officer ranks spoofing, jamming, and dark-vessel alerts into an inbox and writes cited incident briefs, while anything worth keeping drops into an evidence locker with hash-verified custody records exportable as reports. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. AGPL-3.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • History You Own And Replay
  • Every position is written to your own disk in SQLite or Postgres, and a time scrubber rewinds the map to any recorded moment at up to 3600x, instead of the 24 hours free trackers allow.
  • Live Traffic Without Any Keys
  • Aircraft, vessels, satellites, and earthquakes stream from public feeds with no account and no API key, each contact labelled with its sources and the age of its last reported position.
  • Alerts That Explain Themselves
  • A built-in watch officer fuses jamming, dark vessels, and military activity into ranked alerts and written incident briefs, each carrying its reasoning and a one-click jump to the map location.
  • Evidence With A Custody Chain
  • Captures are hashed with SHA-256 into an append-only evidence locker, and a case exports as an HTML or PPTX report that cites its sources, ready to hand to someone else.

Features

  • Live Globe And 2D Console
  • A WebGL globe renders thousands of aircraft, ships, and roughly 16,000 SGP4-propagated satellites, while the /2d console offers the same archive through a dated day-picker and coverage view.
  • Replay With Provenance
  • The time dock rewinds recorded history from one hour to seven days at up to 3600x playback, and every contact shows its reporting feeds and fix age.
  • Layered Intel Stack
  • Toggleable layers cover GPS jamming, dark AIS vessels, FAA flight restrictions, earthquakes, conflict events, internet outages, 7,183 military bases, and 3,804 ports with operational details.
  • Chokepoint Watch
  • A curated library watches Hormuz, Bab-el-Mandeb, Malacca, the Taiwan Strait, and undersea-cable corridors with live transit counts, daily oil-flow figures, and standing background detections.
  • Explorer And Investigations
  • Every live object lands in one filterable, sortable table exportable to CSV, and incidents promote into a link-analysis graph for OSINT on domains, people, and wallets.
  • MCP Server For Agents
  • Velocity also runs as an MCP server, so an AI agent can query live traffic and recorded history directly instead of guessing, with automated output labelled as such.
