SEOnaut
More than 70 automated checks sniff out broken links, redirect chains, and missing meta tags across your whole site, and SEOnaut, the self-hosted SEO audit crawler, sorts every finding into critical, alert, or warning so you know what to fix first. Add a website as a project, press Crawl Now, and watch URLs stream in with their status codes; a Stop button ends any run that wanders off. Reports also cover duplicate titles and descriptions, heading order, hreflang, canonicals, image alt text, thin content, orphan pages, and non-HTTPS URLs, while a passed-checks list shows what is already healthy. Dashboard charts follow crawl history, issue trends, status codes, link types, and page depth. Crawl options are set per project: ignore robots.txt, follow nofollow links, include noindex pages, read the sitemap, allow subdomains, check external links, or authenticate with HTTP Basic to audit a password-protected staging site. Page Details opens any URL with its inlinks, outgoing links, redirections, and images, and URL Explorer searches the crawled pages by term. Export sitemap.xml, CSV lists, or a replayable WACZ archive. Each person picks a light or dark theme and one of five interface languages. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.
Benefits
- Find Problems Before Rankings Suffer
- More than 70 checks flag broken links, redirect chains, missing or duplicate titles and descriptions, heading problems, and hreflang errors, grouped into critical issues, alerts, and warnings so the urgent fixes come first.
- Audit Staging Sites Behind Passwords
- A per-project HTTP Basic authentication option lets the crawler reach protected staging servers; the credentials are not stored on the server and are requested again at every crawl.
- Keep Every Client Site Separate
- Each website is its own project with its own crawl settings, history, and issue list, so agencies and in-house teams can audit many sites from a single login.
- Take The Data Anywhere You Need
- Download sitemap.xml, CSV lists of URLs, links, images, hreflang tags, and issues, or a WACZ archive of the crawl, for spreadsheets, client reports, and offline review.
Features
- Live Crawl Progress
- A WebSocket live view lists each URL with its HTTP status code as it is crawled, with a running counter, a progress bar, and a Stop Crawler button.
- Dashboard Charts
- Apache ECharts graphs show crawl history, issue history, issue types, status codes, link types, page depth, and canonical and image alt coverage, in light or dark themes.
- Page Details and URL Explorer
- Open any crawled URL to see inlinks, internal and external links, redirections, images, scripts, and styles, or search the crawled pages by term in URL Explorer.
- Flexible Crawl Options
- Ignore robots.txt, follow nofollow links, include noindex pages, crawl the sitemap, allow subdomains, check external links, and create a WACZ archive, all chosen per project.
- Data Exports and Archives
- Export sitemap.xml and CSV files for URLs, links, images, scripts, styles, hreflang tags, and issues, or download a WACZ archive for offline replay.
- Docker Compose With MySQL
- Docker Compose runs the app on port 9000 beside a MySQL 8.4 database; add an Nginx or Apache reverse proxy with WebSocket support to serve it over HTTPS.
