Operational

Operational watches your product for the moments that matter, signups, payments, failed webhooks and cron jobs, and pushes the important ones to your phone as they happen. Your code sends structured events with a name and a JSON payload through a simple API, using the official Node.js or PHP SDKs or the WordPress plugin, and every event lands in a searchable feed organized by project and category. Mark an event notify and it becomes a push notification on your phone through the installable web app, while everything else waits quietly in the feed for when you actually want to look. Related events nest inside each other as contexts, so a failed checkout can carry its payment attempt, gateway response and retry history in one expandable bundle instead of forty scattered log lines. Events can carry action buttons that trigger your webhooks, letting you approve a refund, restart a job or retry a delivery from the notification itself. Teammates share projects with their own accounts, a test mode lets you rehearse integrations without polluting the real feed, and a built-in MCP server exposes your events to AI tools. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. AGPL-3.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • Phone alerts for critical events
  • Flag any event notify and the PWA pushes it to your phone with VAPID web-push, while quiet events stay in the feed, so 3 a.m. pages stay rare and meaningful.
  • Events you can actually read
  • Structured names, JSON payloads and nested contexts turn scattered log lines into one expandable story per incident, searchable by project and category when you need the history later.
  • Act without opening anything
  • Action buttons attached to events fire your webhooks, so you can approve refunds, restart jobs or retry deliveries straight from the event card or the push notification itself.
  • Tiny stack, no surprises
  • Node 18, Express, Vue and MySQL 8 in three Docker services, with no ClickHouse or analytics warehouse required, keeps the whole tracker cheap to run on modest hardware.

Features

  • Push notification PWA
  • Install the web app on your phone, generate VAPID keys once, and events marked notify arrive as real push notifications on iOS and Android.
  • Structured event API
  • Post events with names, JSON payloads and categories via the REST API, the Node.js SDK, the PHP SDK or the WordPress plugin in minutes.
  • Nested event contexts
  • Bundle related events inside a parent context, so one checkout failure expands into its payment attempts, gateway responses and retries in a single view.
  • Webhook action buttons
  • Attach buttons to any event that POST to your endpoints, turning notifications into one-tap approvals, restarts and retries without opening your admin panel.
  • Projects and teammates
  • Separate products into projects, invite teammates with individual accounts, and use test mode to rehearse integrations without polluting production event feeds.
  • Docker deployment included
  • One Compose file runs the Vue frontend on nginx, the Express API on port 4337 and MySQL 8, with optional ClickHouse only if you outgrow it.
