Observal

To pull a team's skills, MCP servers, hooks, prompts, and agent files out of scattered Git repositories, Observal keeps them in one reviewed registry and traces real sessions to show which ones help. Build an agent visually, with a live config preview for every harness. Submissions wait in an admin review queue, where reviewers inspect side-by-side version diffs before approving a release. Teamspaces give each team its own namespace, and approved releases can be forked into independent drafts. One pull command then writes the right config for Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro, Codex, Copilot, Pi, OpenCode, Antigravity, or Goose. Every approved resource is discoverable through the open Agentic Resource Discovery standard, and a running agent can hand part of its task to another approved agent or a remote Agent2Agent service. Hooks record each session as a trace of prompts, tool calls, MCP round trips, tokens, and errors, with turn-by-turn replay for debugging and audits. Insight reports, generated through providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Ollama, list what is working, what is hindering, and quick wins. A dashboard follows adoption, cost, and department usage, a leaderboard ranks agents by downloads, and audit logs, SAML single sign-on, and SCIM provisioning are included. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. Apache-2.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • One catalog for every resource
  • Skills, MCP servers, hooks, prompts, sandboxes, and agent files live in one versioned registry instead of scattered Git repositories where teammates cannot find or reuse what colleagues already built.
  • Install into any supported harness
  • A single pull command writes harness-specific configuration for Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro, Codex, Copilot, Pi, OpenCode, Antigravity, and Goose, so nobody maintains separate setup instructions for each tool.
  • Reviewed releases, auditable changes
  • Submissions wait in an admin review queue where reviewers inspect the full diff between versions before approving or rejecting, keeping every change to shared agents traceable.
  • Telemetry stays on your server
  • PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis run on your own infrastructure, so components, session traces, and audit events never leave the machine you control.

Features

  • Registry and Teamspaces
  • Versioned skills, MCP servers, hooks, prompts, sandboxes, and agents sit in per-team namespaces that stay private or go public after review, with forking of approved releases.
  • Discovery and A2A Delegation
  • Agentic Resource Discovery search returns approved resources by urn:air identifier, and agents hand tasks to registry agents or remote Agent2Agent services through find_agents and delegate tools.
  • Session Traces and Replay
  • Harness hooks send prompts, tool calls, MCP round trips, tokens, and errors to ClickHouse, with a searchable session list and turn-by-turn replay of every captured session.
  • Insight Reports
  • Reports generated through LiteLLM with Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock, Gemini, Azure, or Ollama summarize what is working, what is hindering, and quick wins for each agent.
  • Admin Dashboard and Leaderboard
  • Dashboard tabs for AI adoption, cost intelligence, investments, departments, and velocity sit beside agent rankings by downloads, giving platform teams a view of usage across the organization.
  • Audit Log, SSO, and SCIM
  • A filterable audit log with CSV export, SAML single sign-on, and SCIM provisioning ship in the Apache-2.0 distribution, alongside admin diagnostics and settings.
