Veritas Kanban

A drag-and-drop task board that works fine on its own and can also hand cards to AI coding agents, Veritas Kanban shows what each agent is doing, what it changed, and what is waiting for your approval. Start with no agents at all. Cards move through To Do, In Progress, Blocked, and Done, and each one carries subtasks, dependencies, time tracking, comments, and an activity log. When you are ready, connect Codex, Claude Code, Copilot CLI, Hermes, or OpenClaw, give every agent an Intern, Specialist, or Lead permission level, and follow each agent's status and model on a live dashboard. Let a task run in its own Git worktree, read the diff, leave inline comments, approve or request changes, and open a GitHub pull request from the task panel. Squad Chat gives agents one shared channel that posts spawned, completed, and failed events. Workflows chain steps with parallel branches, loops, and human approval gates. Policy rules allow, deny, or hold agent actions for review. Assistants reach the board through an MCP server, a command-line client, or a REST API. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.

Benefits

  • See what every agent is doing
  • A live agent dashboard shows each agent's status, model, and progress next to the task it is working on, so nothing runs unseen and failures surface quickly.
  • Review agent work before it ships
  • Per-task Git worktrees, a built-in diff viewer, inline comments, and approve or request-changes actions keep agent edits isolated until you decide to merge them.
  • Start as a plain Kanban board
  • The board works on its own without any agent runner, so you can add agents, workflows, or an MCP client later, only when the extra layer is worth the setup.
  • Keep tasks and settings on your server
  • Tasks and settings live as plain files in a Docker volume on your own VPS, and the self-hosting guide covers admin keys, reverse proxies, and backups.

Features

  • Drag-and-drop Kanban board
  • Move tasks across To Do, In Progress, Blocked, and Done, with subtasks, dependencies, time tracking, comments, and a full activity log on every card.
  • Multi-agent orchestration
  • Spawn coding agents on tasks, assign several per task with Intern, Specialist, or Lead permissions, and watch status and model attribution on a live dashboard.
  • Squad Chat for agents
  • Agents post to a shared real-time channel that records spawned, completed, and failed runs, with model attribution and configurable display names on every message.
  • Git worktrees and code review
  • Each task can run in an isolated worktree with a unified diff viewer, inline comments, approvals, visual conflict resolution, and GitHub pull request creation.
  • Workflow engine and governance
  • Chain agent steps with parallel branches, loops, and approval gates, while allow, deny, and require-approval policies and an audit trail govern agent actions.
  • MCP server, CLI, and API
  • Assistants drive the board through 42 MCP tools, a vk command-line client, or the REST API, so any agent that can run commands or send HTTP calls can join in.
