REI3
Replace the spreadsheet that quietly runs your department with a proper multi-user application that you design in a browser with REI3, a self-hosted low-code platform. Authors define their data model once, then assemble forms, lists, calendars, Gantt plans, Kanban boards, and charts around it, with form states that show, hide, or require inputs as a record moves through its workflow. Calendars create records from a drag-selected time range, Kanban cards change state by drag and drop, and bulk-update forms edit hundreds of records at once. Phones scan barcodes and QR codes through the camera, and signature pads capture drawings. Roles and record-level access policies decide who sees what, sign-in runs through LDAP, OpenID Connect, or multi-factor authentication, and end-to-end encryption keeps selected fields unreadable even to administrators. REST endpoints work in both directions, ICS feeds publish calendars, CSV moves data in bulk, and IMAP and SMTP accounts connect applications to email. A drag-and-drop PDF editor produces letterheads, labels, and documents with signatures and barcodes. More than a dozen free ready-made applications, including tickets, time tracking, IT assets, a password safe, and a CRM, install from the admin panel. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.
Benefits
- Replace spreadsheets with real applications
- Model records once in the Builder, then assemble forms, lists, calendars, Gantt plans, and Kanban boards on top of them. Shared spreadsheets become multi-user applications with validation, workflows, and access control.
- Start from free ready-made applications
- More than a dozen free applications, including tickets, time tracking, IT assets, a password safe, and a CRM, install from the admin panel and double as reference designs for your own builds.
- Control access down to records
- Roles and access policies grant or restrict access globally or for specific records, while LDAP, OpenID Connect, multi-factor authentication, and brute-force blocking secure how people sign in.
- Keep full ownership of your data
- Data stays in your own PostgreSQL database as human-readable tables, and optional end-to-end encryption keeps selected fields unreadable to the server, so neither administrators nor developers can open them.
Features
- Visual Application Builder
- Define relations, forms, queries, roles, and menus in the browser, then add logic as JavaScript frontend functions or PL/pgSQL backend functions with triggers and schedules.
- Rich Data Views
- Lists with sub-query columns and bulk editing, calendars, Gantt plans, Kanban boards, and ECharts charts present the same records in whatever shape each team needs.
- End-to-End Encryption
- Authors mark attributes as encrypted; values are encrypted in the browser for chosen users or groups before reaching PostgreSQL, and key management is integrated.
- Integrations and APIs
- REST endpoints can be served and called, ICS exposes calendars, CSV handles import and export, and IMAP and SMTP accounts feed an integrated mail spooler.
- Signed Application Transfers
- Applications export as signed, compressed packages using RSA keys and install into other instances from a file or a self-hosted repository, with failed imports reverted.
- Drag-and-Drop PDF Editor
- Design documents with grid or flow layouts, headers, footers, barcodes, and signatures, then generate them from buttons, form actions, or scheduled backend functions.
