Mere Medical
Mere Medical pulls the records from every hospital and clinic patient portal you use into one date-ordered timeline, so lab panels, immunizations, and procedures from different systems sit side by side. Each timeline card shows its facility and, when recorded, the provider, and expands with View More; a Jump To index leaps between years. The Summary tab condenses bookmarked labs, medications, conditions, immunizations, care plans, and allergies onto one dashboard whose cards can be dragged into any order or hidden. Lab results are graphed over time wherever the units line up, and a search bar finds specific entries by keyword. Connections sync from Epic MyChart, Oracle Health (Cerner), Veradigm, DrChrono, eClinicalWorks Healow, athenahealth, and NextGen, and several sources can feed one profile at once. Everything lives on your device, so records stay searchable offline and no account sign-in is needed; an optional password encrypts them at rest. Separate user profiles hold each person's records, and JSON export and import make backups simple. Experimental AI features add semantic search that links a phrase like high blood sugar to related labs, plus a Mere Assistant that answers plain-language questions about your records using local Ollama models or an OpenAI key. Install it on a phone or desktop home screen for quick access in the waiting room. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.
Benefits
- All Your Portals In One Timeline
- Epic MyChart, Oracle Health (Cerner), athenahealth, NextGen, and other sources sync into one chronological timeline, so a vaccine from one clinic and labs from another sit side by side.
- Medical Data Stays On Your Device
- Everything is kept in the browser's local database, no account sign-in is required, and an optional password encrypts it at rest; a proxy toggle trades broader portal reach for extra privacy.
- Charts That Track Lab Trends
- Bookmark labs such as hemoglobin onto the Summary dashboard, view sparklines, and open graphs of each value across visits, with reference ranges shown beside the latest result.
- Ask Questions With Local AI
- Optional semantic search and the Mere Assistant answer questions about your records through local Ollama models, with OpenAI available for testing, so private data can stay off third-party servers.
Features
- Patient Portal Connections
- Connects to Epic MyChart, Oracle Health (Cerner), Veradigm, DrChrono, eClinicalWorks Healow, athenahealth, and NextGen through their patient APIs, with several sources active in one profile.
- Timeline And Summary Views
- A date-ordered timeline of expandable cards with a Jump To index sits beside a Summary dashboard of medications, conditions, immunizations, care plans, and allergies that supports drag-and-drop reordering.
- Offline-First Local Storage
- Records live in the browser through RxDB with a Workbox service worker, so the app loads and searches offline and installs as a PWA on iOS, Android, and Chrome.
- Optional Password Encryption
- Encrypted storage requires a password before any record opens and protects data at rest on the device; JSON export and import handle backups and restores.
- Optional AI Assistant
- Experimental semantic search and a Mere Assistant for plain-language questions run on local Ollama models or an OpenAI API key, switched on under Show experimental features in Settings.
- Multiple User Profiles
- A Switch User dialog with Add New User keeps records for each person in separate profiles, each with its own name, birthday, email, and avatar.
