Antirion

Your apps keep using the OpenAI SDK while Antirion, a self-hosted AI gateway, decides which provider answers, what each team may spend, and what gets logged. Clients speak the OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Bedrock APIs, and Antirion translates between them, so a Claude deployment can answer an OpenAI-style call, streams included. Add providers such as Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, Mistral, Groq, DeepSeek, or a vLLM server, then publish them as named Models. Routing rules send traffic by team or project with fallback chains, weighted splits, least-cost or least-latency targets, retries, hedging, and circuit breakers. Budgets and rate limits in dollars or tokens apply per organization, team, project, and key, with projections and alerts before money runs out. Guardrails check for personal data, secrets, keywords, and regex matches, then block, redact, flag, or divert. Exact and semantic caching answers repeated prompts without calling a provider. The request log records every attempt, route, token count, cost, and guardrail verdict, with Prometheus metrics and OTLP traces. An MCP gateway and A2A proxy put tools and agents behind the same keys. Sign in with OIDC, SAML, or GitHub, provision users with SCIM, and review every change in the audit log. Changes you choose can require a change request or a second person's approval, and the Playground sends requests from the console. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. Apache-2.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • One endpoint for every provider
  • Clients keep using OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Bedrock SDKs by changing only the base URL, and Antirion translates requests and streams so any client can call any configured provider.
  • Spend caps before the bill arrives
  • Budgets and rate limits in dollars or tokens apply to organizations, teams, projects, and keys, with month-end projections and alerts that fire before a budget runs out.
  • Keeps working when a provider fails
  • Fallback chains, retries, request hedging, and circuit breakers reroute calls when a provider errors or slows down, and the request log records every attempt and why it failed.
  • One container, console included
  • The default image runs as a single container with an embedded store, so no database or separate UI deployment is needed; the project's benchmark lists 41 MiB of idle memory.

Features

  • Multi-provider API translation
  • Speaks OpenAI Chat, Responses, Anthropic Messages, Gemini, and Bedrock formats, and calls OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic, Vertex AI, Mistral, Groq, DeepSeek, xAI, or any OpenAI-compatible server such as vLLM.
  • Routing and resilience
  • Route trees with fallback, weighted, least-cost, least-latency, and classifier nodes, plus retries with backoff, hedging, circuit breakers, and a simulator that shows which deployment a request would reach.
  • Budgets and rate limits
  • Limits on requests, tokens, or concurrency and budgets in dollars or tokens, from daily to yearly, with a spend ledger, per-model prices, projections, and approval of overage requests.
  • Guardrails and PII redaction
  • Check requests, responses, and streams for personal data, secrets, keywords, regexes, and JSON schemas, then block, redact with format-preserving masks, flag, or divert the call.
  • Request log and analytics
  • Searchable log with route, attempts, tokens, cost, cache status, and guardrail results, plus analytics by model and team, Prometheus metrics, OTLP traces, and alerts to Slack or PagerDuty.
  • Access control and SSO
  • Virtual keys per project with model and IP limits, roles per scope, OIDC, SAML, and GitHub sign-in, SCIM provisioning, TOTP and WebAuthn, and an audit log with change requests.
