AgentBox

AgentBox is a self-hosted browser workspace that runs Claude Code and Codex CLI on a server you control, so a task goes from chat to reviewed code without leaving one place. Open a workspace from an empty project, an uploaded archive, or a Git clone, then talk to the agent in streaming web chat or drop into its original interactive terminal when you want the CLI itself. Files persist between sessions along with your home configuration and chat history, so a project picked up on a laptop continues on a phone exactly where it stopped. Review per-file diffs line by line before committing, pushing, or opening a pull request, and download the result when no Git connection is configured. Shared files, layered home templates, Claude skills, and MCP configuration carry your setup into every new workspace, with per-workspace overrides when a project differs. A trusted team shares central account pools with per-user scopes, while every model request is recorded with tokens, cache hit rate, cost, and latency, exportable to CSV and optionally capped by credits. An optional tunnel reaches allowlisted repositories and databases on private networks, and six interface styles with light and dark modes keep long sessions comfortable. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. Apache-2.0 licensed.

Benefits

  • Coding Agents On Your Server
  • Claude Code and Codex CLI run in isolated Docker workspaces on your Linux server, reached from any browser, with streaming chat and their original interactive terminal interfaces side by side.
  • Task To Reviewed Code, Once
  • Upload or clone a project, chat through the work, run and preview it, review per-file diffs, then commit, push, open a pull request, or download the result.
  • Setup You Reuse Everywhere
  • Persistent files, home configuration, and chat history survive sessions, while shared files, layered templates, Claude skills, and MCP settings carry into each new workspace with overrides.
  • Team Accounts With Cost Records
  • Central account pools with per-user scopes serve a trusted team, and every model request is logged with tokens, cache hit rate, historical price, latency, and optional credit limits.

Features

  • Docker Workspace Isolation
  • Each workspace gets its own Docker container on the host while files and history persist, served by one Go binary with an embedded frontend and SQLite state.
  • Chat And Original Terminal
  • Streaming web chat shows tool calls and task lists as they happen, and a persistent tmux-backed terminal runs the agent CLI or your own shell commands.
  • Git Review Workflow
  • Per-file line-by-line diffs are reviewed before committing, pushing, or opening a PR or MR through GitHub or GitLab connections, or downloading the finished result.
  • Skills And MCP Configuration
  • Claude skills and MCP servers install at user or workspace level with JSON import and connection checks, so agents arrive with your tools already configured.
  • Usage Records Per Request
  • Every model request is recorded with tokens, cache hit rate, effort, latency, and cost, with filters, totals, CSV export, and optional credit limits for accounts.
  • Private Network Tunnel
  • The optional abox-link tunnel reaches allowlisted repositories, databases, and other private-network services from cloud workspaces, with client downloads and status in the console.
