Statainer

Monitoring and safeguarding Docker infrastructure without heavy enterprise software overhead is the primary mission of Statainer, an open-source management control center for container hosts. System operators inspect live CPU loads, memory consumption, network throughput, and disk I/O metrics across individual containers or comparative top-ranking charts. The interface groups containers by Compose projects, enabling administrators to start, stop, or restart entire application stacks and inspect real-time log streams without opening SSH sessions. The built-in Update Manager detects available image tags, executes single-click container updates, and maintains persistent deployment history with automated rollback capabilities for failed recreations. Custom alert configurations trigger instant notifications to Telegram, Discord, Slack, Pushover, or generic webhook endpoints whenever resource thresholds are breached or container health states change. Developers can provision scoped API keys with token authentication to automate container state transitions and export performance telemetry into custom monitoring workflows. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. MIT licensed.

Benefits

  • Live Container Resource Telemetry Visualization
  • Streams per-container CPU cores, memory utilization, disk I/O, and network throughput in real time via server-sent events without polling overhead.
  • Safe Managed Updates With Rollback
  • Discovers upstream image updates across standalone containers and Compose stacks, executing sequential image recreations while preserving deployment history for one-click rollback.
  • Multi-Channel Incident Notification Dispatch
  • Routes automated resource threshold warnings and status change alerts directly to Discord, Telegram, Slack, Pushover, ntfy, or custom webhook endpoints.
  • Scoped Tokenized Programmatic REST API
  • Grants external automation tools granular access to system metrics, container restart controls, and scheduled update workflows using cryptographically hashed bearer tokens with configurable expiration windows.

Features

  • Compose Stack Grouping
  • Organizes running containers by Docker Compose project labels, providing aggregated health summaries and coordinated lifecycle actions.
  • Interactive Log Streaming
  • Inspects live container stdout and stderr streams directly in the browser with ANSI color formatting and search filtering.
  • Top-N Comparative Analytics
  • Ranks containers by highest resource consumption across CPU, memory, and uptime using interactive bar and pie charts.
  • Hardware GPU Monitoring
  • Collects per-container GPU utilization and dedicated VRAM metrics on hosts equipped with NVIDIA management tooling.
  • Customizable Column Layouts
  • Allows operators to toggle visible metrics, adjust refresh intervals, and export container telemetry data into CSV spreadsheets.
