Mediarium
Find a title tonight and wake up to it named, filed, and ready to play: Mediarium is a self-hosted media manager that finds, downloads, repairs, and organizes movies, TV, music, ebooks, and audiobooks from one web page on your own server. Search once and it queries your Usenet and torrent indexers together, grabs the best release, unpacks it, applies your naming rules, and places it where Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby expects it. Quality profiles with upgrades and fallbacks keep hunting better copies automatically, while delay profiles, a blocklist with retries, and tags such as Kids or 4K keep the wrong releases out and collections tidy. Subtitles are matched to your exact file, with a timing fix when one runs out of sync. Family accounts carry permissions of their own: relatives who cannot add titles send requests you approve, and watch history read from your media server drives statistics and optional cleanup rules. The built-in Books app reads ebooks, plays audiobooks chapter by chapter, remembers your place everywhere, and even opens Kindle books. Torrents can run behind a built-in WireGuard VPN with a kill switch, downloads repair and unpack themselves, and notifications, backups, and a post-import script keep the routine invisible. Moving over reads your Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, SABnzbd, and other existing setups without changing them. Running on a dedicated VPS on RepoCloud with guaranteed CPU, RAM, and SSD, full root SSH access, and a browser serial console. AGPL-3.0 licensed.
Benefits
- One Container Replaces Whole Stack
- Movies, TV, music, ebooks, and audiobooks are searched, downloaded, repaired, unpacked, named, and filed by one Docker container, replacing separate Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, SABnzbd, and torrent tools.
- Downloads That File Themselves
- Built-in Usenet and BitTorrent clients repair, unpack, rename, and hardlink releases into your library folders, then refresh Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Audiobookshelf, or Kavita automatically after every import.
- Family Accounts With Requests
- Each person gets permissions you choose, relatives who cannot add titles send requests for approval, and watch history from your media server feeds statistics and optional cleanup rules.
- Books Read And Played Built-In
- Mediarium Books opens as its own app for reading ebooks and playing audiobooks by chapter, remembers your place on every device, follows series, and even reads Kindle books.
Features
- Unified Indexer Search
- One search bar queries Newznab and Torznab indexers plus definition-based torrent sites together, ranking movies, shows, music, and books against your quality profiles before grabbing.
- Quality Profiles And Upgrades
- Quality profiles with custom formats, TRaSH imports, fallbacks, and delay rules keep hunting better releases automatically, while a blocklist retries failures instead of accepting broken files.
- WireGuard VPN Built In
- Torrents can route through a built-in WireGuard VPN with an optional kill switch, needing no special container permissions, while Usenet downloads repair with PAR2 and unpack themselves.
- Media Server Refresh
- Finished imports refresh Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Audiobookshelf, and Kavita automatically, read watch state back every six hours, and can run your own script after each import.
- Subtitles Matched To Files
- Subtitles are picked to match your exact release rather than the title alone, with a timing correction applied when a track runs ahead of or behind the picture.
- Migration Without Redoing Setup
- Existing Radarr, Sonarr, Prowlarr, SABnzbd, and eight other setups are read and imported without being changed, so libraries, profiles, and folders carry over in minutes.
